Josie Lamb
Kentucky artist, Josie Lamb Williams, of Mayapple Creations, has always been driven to build a stronger connection between the natural and human world, and her organic yet intricate jewelry is manifestation of this desire. All of the shapes in her jewelry are based on ancient symbols, and shapes found in nature. She carefully creates each piece from 100% recycled sterling silver, accented by Fair Trade recycled glass, Fair Trade pearls, and an eclectic variety of woodland materials. Every silver shape and finding is crafted with traditional hand tools (plus a very beloved rotary tool) and is finished with hammer, rubber mallet, and files to add texture and durability.
